Kettering woman, 25, in serious condition after road smash

A 25-year-old woman from Kettering is said to be in a serious but stable condition following a raod traffic accident in Cambridgeshire last night (Monday, January 20).

A 20-year-old woman from Bedford was driving a red Citroen C1 when it collided with a blue Vauxhall Astra driven by a 25-year-old woman from Kettering near Croxton, about 15 miles west of Cambridge.

The crash happened at 10.25pm on the A428 between St Neots and Cambridge.

One of the women was said to have a suspected fractured pelvis and was sedated by paramedics from the East of England Air Ambulance.

Both drivers were taken to Addenbrooke’s with serious injuries but in a stable condition.
