Kettering Council says work to install new rising bollards at entrances to the town centre is likely to begin in March.

The bollard scheme was announced last year and aims to make the town centre a car-free zone.

The plans were discussed at a council meeting last week.

Officer Alex Jelley said work on a traffic order would begin in the next month.
