Organisers of this year’s Strictly Got to Dance in aid of Cransley Hospice are on the hunt for enthusiastic men to take part in this October’s event.

The dance-off takes place at Wicksteed Park on October 15.

Organisers say: “This is an exciting opportunity to learn a new skill, keep fit, make new friends and raise money for Cransley Hospice.

“We are looking for enthusiastic men who will be available from August 2016 to learn to dance.

“You will rehearse as individuals for two hours a week with a professional dance teacher.

“You will each learn two set ballroom dances and a show dance.

“These will be performed in front of an audience of friends, Cransley Hospice supporters and a panel of judges on Saturday, October 15, at Wicksteed Park.”

Anyone who wants to take part is being asked to pledge to aim to raise £1,000 in sponsorship for Cransley Hospice.
