Kettering Cyberman Barry Noble is helping out a hospice charity by taking part in a celebrity signing event on Saturday, September 14.

Mr Noble, who played a Cyberman in the fourth series of Doctor Who aired in 1967, when Patrick Troughton played The Doctor, is appearing at The Bowstring Bar, in Braunstone Gate, Leicester, between 10am and 4pm.

He will be joined by Simon Fisher-Becker, who has played Dorium Maldovar in Doctor Who and The Fat Friar in the Harry Potter movies, and Jeremy Bulloch, who played the bounty hunter Boba Fett in the original Star Wars trilogy.

The event is raising money for The Leicestershire and Rutland Carers Centre and the hospice charity LOROS.

Entry will be £6 on the door (family ticket £15), which does not include the cost of any photos or autographs. Advance tickets are £4 per person or £10 family ticket.
