A Kettering church is to hold a charity concert to replace items stolen after it was burgled last month.
All Saints Parish Church in William Street had laptops, projectors and food stolen from the playschool inside, as well as suffering damage to doors and windows.
And now a charity concert is being held at the church at 7pm on Saturday, February 20, to help it get back on its feet.
Organiser Joshua Daniel said: “All Saints Parish has stood at the heart of the community for 100 years this year, and it breaks my heart so think that people can stoop so low to steal from a pivotal community hub.
“In my eyes they have stolen from the community, not just the church.
“We are raising money to help replenish stock that was stolen, to replace items that were taken from the playschool and to help raise money for the church’s lost items too.
“Community spirit lives on, let us join together.”
Among the local talent participating in the concert are Margaret Walker, Jonathan Reynolds, Amelia Morgan, Josh Wright, The Melody Choir, Maddie Boreham and Joshua himself.
The church is also appealing for raffle prizes to be donated.
Tickets to the concert cost £6 for adults and £4 for concessions, with under-12s free.
