Kettering students will be heading to university next month after collecting their A-level results today.
Kettering Buccleuch Academy, in Weekley Glebe Road, saw more than half its students - 56 per cent - post A* to C grades which will take them into higher education.
Dawn Cotter, principal of Kettering Buccleuch Academy, said: “We are delighted with these results which are a fitting reward for the students who have worked so hard over the past two years.
“We are incredibly proud of what our students have achieved and wish them every success at university and in the future.”
The school’s success stories include Jack Rowlett, who acheived an A* in maths and 3 As in biology, chemistry, and physics, and Kai Wright who attained an A in maths and Bs in physics and history, granting him a place to study physics at Leicester University.
Vanessa Pitusi achieved an A in German and Bs in French and biology. She is going to study marine biology at university.
