A popular country show has announced a line-up that it hopes will attract the crowds over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

With the New Year now in full swing, the Kelmarsh Country Show is one of the first countryside attractions to kick start the game fair season into action, bringing another set of demonstrations and countryside activities to the Kelmarsh showground.

Held over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend within the grounds of Kelmarsh Hall, the Kelmarsh Country Show will welcome the Knights of Middle England in the Main Arena, retail opportunities where shoppers can stock up on lots of country-inspired clothing and accessories, as well as an array of rural crafts and demonstrations to suit all ages.

This event also welcomes visitors to the start of the Great Wall Motor World Series Clay Shooting Championship with Promatic, where clay shooting hopefuls can battle it out in rounds 1 and 2 of the competition.

Over in the gundog scurries, handlers and their clever companions can get involved in the Great Wall Motor World Series Gundog Championship with Chudleys Dog Food.

A show spokesman said: “With so much planned for this year’s Kelmarsh Country Show, we’re confident families, individuals and sportsmen will enjoy all that’s on offer. For more information on what’s on at this year’s event, check the Countryman Fairs website at www.countrymanfairs.co.uk for all the latest developments.”

The Kelmarsh Country Show takes place over April 20 and 21.
