Young people armed only with their imaginations turned junk into wonderful creations.
A special junk modelling workshop was held on Saturday at Stanwick Lakes with help from the Phoenix Resource Centre in Raunds.
Families were invited to go along to the discovery zone in Stanwick Lakes’ visitor centre to see what they could make out of a range of recycled materials.
Stanwick Lakes project manager Jane Ivens said: “It was the first time we had held this event and it was a big success.
“We had people taking part in the session throughout the day and they created some wonderful things.
“It was really popular.”
Stanwick Lakes hopes to hold more junk modelling sessions in partnership with the resource centre in the future.
