Thrill seekers are being urged to walk over broken glass and raise cash to support an animal rescue charity.
Anyone brave enough to walk over four meters of smashed sterile wine bottles is asked to sign up for the Animals in Need glass walk on Saturday, April 20.
The event will take place at Cogenhoe Football Club on Saturday, April 20, and a total of 60 places are available.
All of the sponsorship money raised by participants will go to the Little Irchester-based charity.
Charity co-founder Annie Marriott said: “We have booked it for Cogenhoe Football Club and 60 people are allowed to do it. We hope they will each raise about £200 in sponsorship.
“They will have to walk over broken glass. Someone said to me that it was like walking over cornflakes.
“Anyone can sign up and groups are welcome.”
Roy Marriott, from the charity, will be the first dare-devil to cross the glass on the day.
He said: “As long as you do what you are told you don’t get hurt – you just start walking, and keep going.
“The people organising it said they have never had an accident.”

All funds raised for the charity go to providing care and treatment for animals until they can go to a new home.
