Oranges & Lemons children’s day nursery in Finedon Road has been sold to Beccy Maloney, an experienced operator who already runs a successful childcare setting in the area with her daughter Abbey.

The nursery has an effective capacity for 43 children and has been run by Janet and Trevor White in recent years, but they have now taken the decision to take a well-earned retirement.

Tamara Skipworth, business agent at Christie & Co’s Birmingham office, brokered the sale.

She said: “Oranges & Lemons is a lovely childcare business, and we are delighted to have brokered the sale of the nursery to Beccy Maloney and her daughter Abbey, who are very experienced in the childcare sector, and we are certain that they will take the setting from strength to strength.

“The sale will allow Janet and Trevor to enjoy a very well-earned retirement, and we wish them both all the very best for the future.”
