Police are still investigating an assault in Kettering which left a 41-year-old man with serious head injuries.
Two men, aged 26 and 19, were bailed by police after being arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident, which police say was a result of a disturbance in the street, and which took place late in the evening on Saturday, June 1.
They were taken into custody in Corby before being released on Tuesday, June 4.
The 41-year-old was taken to Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry. Police say he was in a critical condition in hospital.
