Entrepreneurs and business leaders have been invited to attend Corby Technical School’s first industry breakfast next week.
The initiative is designed to strengthen the school’s links with the business community and visitors will be given the chance to gain an insight into a school which has been rated outstanding by Ofsted and is leading the way in technical education.
During the event business representatives will have breakfast, tour the school’s new building, meet its staff and students and see some of their work.
CTS director of mathematics Linda Arnold, who is leading the project, said: “We want to forge links with industries and businesses to give our students an appreciation of the skills they will need in the world of work.
“Hopefully our Industry Breakfasts will benefit our students and the organisations which attend. We hope companies will find that working with us proves to be a valuable experience for their staff.”
The first industry breakfast will be held between 8.45am and 10am on Tuesday, June 10.
Any organisations which would like to send a representative along to the event should contact Mrs Arnold at email@example.com
