Three 1980s movie classics are to be screened at a nature reserve.
Simon Hopkins, who is projectionist with the Centre Screen scheme, has set up a special mini-season of screenings at Stanwick Lakes over the August Bank Holiday.
It is the first time the venue has held such an event.
And he is offering Telegraph readers the chance to win four tickets to a film of their choice.
Mr Hopkins is screening 1980s classics Raiders of the Lost Ark, Dirty Dancing and Top Gun.
They will be shown in HD and projected on to a 40sq m screen.
Raiders of the Lost Ark will be shown on Friday, August 22, Dirty Dancing on Saturday, August 23, and Top Gun on Sunday, August 24.
Mr Hopkins said: “Everybody likes a good movie, but it really is a whole new fun experience to watch together in the open air.
“The big inflatable screens and quality of projection means events like these are becoming massively popular all over the UK.
“Stanwick Lakes has the perfect location with an outdoor theatre overlooking the lake.”
The gates open at 6.30pm with the films beginning at about 8.45pm. Tickets are £7.50, £5 for under-15s, and car parking is free. Dirty Dancing and Top Gun have scenes unsuitable for under-12s.
For tickets call Stanwick Lakes on 01933 625522 from 10am to 5pm or go to www.facebook.com/stanwickoutdoorfilm.
To win four tickets to a film answer the question: Who plays Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark? Email the answer to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday, August 7, stating which film you would like to see.
