More than 100 jobs will be created with a new warehouse opening in Corby next month.

Swedish furniture giant Ikea has confirmed that it is opening a distribution warehouse at the Eurohub site in Corby.

CEVA Logistics will be managing the warehouse and is currently recruiting for a variety of roles.

A spokesman for Ikea said: “We can confirm that CEVA Logistics has been appointed to manage a 150,000 sq ft warehouse in Corby, Northamptonshire, to support the growth of our online sales channel.

“CEVA will undertake a number of customer order fulfilment tasks from the site as part of their contract, which is due to commence in January 2016.”

Numerous roles are being advertised online for people to apply for.

A spokesman for CEVA Logistics said: “CEVA will undertake inbound, picking, packing, loading and e-fulfilment activity from the site.

“Up to 120 employees will be recruited for the new site and any interested candidates should contact Alliance Personnel on 0121 2652080.”
