Police are appealing for help in tracing a driver who got out of his car and grabbed a woman before spinning her around, causing her to fall.

A 20-year-old woman walking along Lower Street towards Morrisons supermarket in Kettering spoke with the driver of a silver Subaru Impreza at the traffic lights sometime between 3pm and 3.20pm on Tuesday, August 14.

As she walked away, a man got out of the car, grabbed her and span her around causing her to fall to the floor.

The offender was a black man, 5ft 6in, aged 22, with short black hair, of skinny build and wore a red string vest and dark coloured jogging bottoms.
