A Kettering venue plus maths teachers from across the UK adds up to a national conference taking place in the town this weekend.
The National Mathematics Teacher Conference is being held at the Kettering Conference Centre in Thurston Drive on Saturday, September 27.
A total of 500 teachers from all over Britain are expected to attend the conference, which will be divided up into 25 workshops as well as talks and networking.
It is the biggest mathematics conference in the United Kingdom.
And the number one attraction for delegates will be a visit from TV personality Johnny Ball, who spent much of his career attempting to multiply youngsters’ interest in maths.
The event is being organised by La Salle Education, a British company dedicated to improving mathematics education.
