East Midlands Trains had to put on a bus service to take passengers between Corby and Kettering train stations because of overhead wire problems.

Train services from London to Luton and elsewhere on the Midland Mainline were disrupted throughout Friday, January 17.

East Midlands Trains initially said trains could be operating by 1pm, but later cancelled cerain services until the following day.

As well as the shuttle bus between Corby and Kettering, buses ran from Kettering, Wellingborough and Northampton to allow passengers to connect to London Midland trains to and from London Euston.
