Cransley Hospice has a number of events in the pipeline to help raise valuable funds over the coming months.

Among them is the hospice’s seventh annual charity golf day, which is being held at Kettering Golf Club on Friday, June 28.

Teams are being invited to sign up for the event for £230, which includes a round of golf, breakfast, on-course refreshments and a two-course meal.

Businesses are also being asked to sponsor a hole for £175.

An evening of music at the Raven Hall in Corby featuring a triple-bill of Dr Feelgood tribute bands, Lucky 7even, The Feelgood Factor and The Practice is being held on Friday, April 26.

Tickets, costing £10, can be bought from The Raven Hotel, Delmari Kitchens and Tony’s Barbers, all in Corby.

A pampering day at St Michael’s Church in Kettering is being held between 9.30am and 3pm on Saturday and treatments will be £12 each.

Finally, the Cransley Hospice Coffee Shop in Horsemarket is celebrating its first birthday on Tuesday.

Customers will get a free piece of cake.
