Northamptonshire’s Home Guard visited the Rothwell Arts and Heritage Centre on Saturday, February 22, as visitors learned about what life was like during the World Wars.

The centre’s Ray Davis said the day went very well, saying everyone involved worked hard and the public response was excellent.

He added: “The Home Guard were impressed with the successful outcome of the day and have asked if they could come back next year to repeat the experience.”
