A brewery is putting on a beer festival this weekend to showcase the best beers in the north of the county.

Hosted by the Shire Horse pub in Newland Street, Kettering, the festival – which is being run by town brewery Tom Smith Ales – is offering more than 20 real ales to visitors, including some which have never been served in the area.

As well as showcasing a range of their own beers, Tom Smith Ales will also be serving up a selection of ales from three other new local breweries.

Entry is free for the festival, which is running from 11am to 11pm between Friday, January 25, and Sunday, January 27. A hog roast will also be on hand to warm up hungry guests.
