Manor School Sports College in Raunds has celebrated its highest ever haul of GCSE results

GCSE and equivalent results at the school were the highest the school has achieved at five A* to C grades.

She said: “We celebrate and congratulate our students for achieving 97 per cent five A* to C grades this year, a tremendous achievement.

“Success in maths GCSE is outstanding this year, reaching 7o per cent at A* to C, which is well above national average; 100 per cent A* to C in Statistics and 100% A* to C for the cohort who undertook the iGCSE.

“I am thrilled that our sports specialism has returned outstanding results yet again this year.

“We are proud of all our students, but particularly of Alfie Wright, Courtney McNabb, Asa Hughes who achieved 31 A* and A grades between them.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all teachers, support staff, governors and parents for their unfailing support to our students throughout their courses.”
