Higham Ferrers is set to sparkle at its annual event marking the start of the countdown to Christmas.
The town’s popular Christmas Sparkle returns in just over a month with lots of fun lined up for all the family.
Attractions will include a continental market, Santa’s grotto and a funfair as well as a hog roast, chestnuts and mulled wine.
The fun on Saturday, November 19, starts at 11am and will run throughout the day until 6pm, with the lights switch-on due to take place at 5pm.
There will also be live entertainment on stage and a Christmas tree display in St Mary’s Church.
People joining in the fun will be able to vote for the best dressed shop window while keeping an eye out for the gargoyles in shop windows around the town.
The annual event has been organised by Higham Ferrers Town Council in partnership with Higham Ferrers Tourism and St Mary’s Church.
