Help with charity’s festive gift appeal

Kettering’s Salvation Army has launched its Christmas Parcels Appeal to help families who need practical assistance.

Collection points have been set up in Wilkinsons, Newland Street, Superdrug, High Street, and, from November 12, Asda in Cunliffe Drive, where shoppers can donate toys, groceries and toiletries. The Salvation Army hall, Regent Street, is also taking gifts.

MP Philip Hollobone said: “Our local area is blessed that for several years the Salvation Army has worked together with various other local organisations to provide Christmas presents and food to those who are less fortunate than most.”
