Wellingborough's Kilburn School of Dance has been named as a potential 'wild card' entry wild card' for the danceproms at the Royal Albert Hall in October.

A group of young dancers from Wellingborough’s Kilburn School of Dance have been selected as a potential ‘wild card’ entry for this year’s Danceproms at the Royal Albert Hall in October – and now they need your votes!

The group is one of three from around the country to be selected, and the only one in Northamptonshire.

Amanda Wilkins, from the Kilburn School of Dance, said: “I cannot believe it, our ‘Moment of Peace’ Group has been selected as the ‘Wild Card’ for Dance Proms 2016 at the Royal Albert Hall.

“We need your help to get us there - your local dance school - every vote counts.

“So please vote for us and share this as much as possible.

“None of these children aged between 10-14 have had the privilege to dance at this amazing venue before so please help us.”

To vote for the Kilburn group, visit www.danceproms.co.uk and scroll to the voting section at the bottom of the page. Follow the instructions to vote (the Kilburn School is number three).

The voting closes tomorrow (Friday, June 17).

Amanda added: “All this takes less than 2 minutes and is totally free - thank you we really appreciate your help.”
