People are being encouraged to grab their walking boots and glow sticks and take part in Walk Ten.

The twilight 10k walk takes place at Boughton House in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Northamptonshire Nursing Service, on Saturday, September 13.

Walkers can also picnic on the lawns and listen to live music and entertainment after finishing.

The evening ends with a fireworks display at 10pm, the time when the majority of Marie Curie nurses begin their evening shifts.

Entry costs £10, with on-the-night entry costing £20. Under-16s walk for free and everyone who takes part gets a Walk Ten T-shirt to wear on the night.

Dogs are welcome. To sign up go to www.mariecurie.org.uk/boughton or call 0845 0524184.
