Have your say

Residents in Corby are being given a say on the future of healthcare in the area.

NHS Corby Clinical Commissioning Group is holding a public meeting at the Cube on Tuesday, June 4, from 6pm to 8pm.

The Corby, My Healthcare event, will include presentations and discussion sessions, as well as an interactive audience participation session entitled What does your healthcare cost?.

The purpose of this is to raise awareness of some of the local costs of NHS services.

Dr Pete Wilczynski, chairman of the commissioning group, said: “We are really excited by the opportunities we have to work with the people of Corby to develop and improve the health services on offer. This event gives the opportunity for Corby residents and patients to get involved and let us know what areas they would like to see prioritised.”

The event is also an opportunity for people to meet members of staff from their GP practice and others interested in having a say about the future of healthcare in Corby.

There will be no admission charge and light refreshments will be served.

To register for the event, people are asked to complete an online form at www.corbyccg.nhs.uk/events, call 01604 651744 or email corby.pulse@nhs.net by Friday, May 31.
