Kind-hearted children collected hundreds of bottle tops to help a charity supporting a poorly young boy in Poland.
The children from Our Lady of Walsingham Primary School in Corby collected the tops in support of a Polish charity, the Foundation of Help for Family and Patients with Mukowiscydoza.
The condition is a genetic disease which affects the respiratory system. Sufferers are prone to infections and there is no cure.
The children were helping a young boy called Julian, who is the face of the charity.
The collection was organised by music teacher Anna Judge, who is from Poland.
She said: “We had about six big boxes of them. I had heard about the charity because of one particular child and I have been in touch with his mum.
“The children have been so excited about it. It is brilliant to see.”
