Two health apprenticeship recruitment events are being held in the county.

Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), Kettering General Hospital, Northampton General Hospital and Northamptonshire Local Medical Committee are holding the first one today (Wednesday, March 2) from 4.30pm to 8pm at the Corn Market Hall, London Road, Kettering, to promote the different types of apprenticeships available in the NHS.

Apprenticeships give young people and those looking to get back into work an excellent opportunity to support their local NHS trust while learning new skills and taking steps to further their career.

Positions are available across corporate services as well as supporting clinical staff, offering something for everyone.

The drop-in event is for anyone wanting to find out more about the apprenticeship opportunities available in the NHS and the occupational areas covered across the local trusts.

People can also register their interest for upcoming vacancies and enquire about work experience opportunities.

A second event is being held in Northampton from 4.30pm to 8pm on Wednesday, March 9, at Northampton General Hospital.
