A series of roadshows are being held in the county where people can give their views on health services in the area.
Healthwatch Northamptonshire, the independent consumer champion for health and social care, is inviting people to talk about a range of issues, including Kettering General Hospital which recently received a critical report by the Care Quality Commission.
Rosie Newbigging, chief executive of Healthwatch Northamptonshire, said: “Our Make Your Voice Count is a big new campaign to really put Healthwatch Northamptonshire on the local map.
“We want to get our name out in the community, talk to local people about what we can do and find out how they want us to influence health and social care.
“We also want to get people involved in Healthwatch. These are challenging times for health and social care as the need for care increases but resources remain tight. We want to make sure people are having their voice heard. We want to help make sure people feel their voice counts.”
Healthwatch Northamptonshire is also conducting a survey which can be completed by visiting www.healthwatchnorthamptonshire.co.uk, or calling 01604 893636.
