PEOPLE in will be able to have their say on anti-social behaviour in Wellingborough at a three-day event being held by police officers in the town.
Officers and PCSOs will host the Have Your Say event from 10am to 4pm from Thursday, May 17, to Saturday, May 19, in the Swansgate Centre.
The three-day event is aimed at providing people with an opportunity to report any issues.
Officers also want to raise awareness of anti-social behaviour and how it can be tackled.
A police spokesman said: “We are holding a Have your Say anti-social behaviour event. Please come along to meet and speak to local officers from the Wellingborough Town Safer Community Team.
“We will be raising awareness about what anti-social behaviour is and how we can tackle it.”
Previous Have Your Say events held by police in the town have attracted hundreds of people.
Wellingborough sector commander, Insp Nick Lyall said: “People can come down and speak to our officers about any issues they have.
“These events have always been well attended in the past.
“It is an ideal opportunity for people to come to speak to us about any issues they have.”
People in Wellingborough can also report issues through an email E-Panel system aimed at reaching busy residents. The system was launched in Wellingborough town last November, and across the rural areas of the borough early this year.
More than 1,000 people living in the town responded to the most recent E-Panel email, identifying the issues they wanted to be made Locally Identified Priorities.
A total of 550 people stated they had no issues, 174 people said poor or broken street lighting was their main concern and 161 people highlighted street nuisance and anti-social behaviour. A further 84 people said damage to property and graffiti was a concern for them and 78 people highlighted motorcycle nuisance as their main concern.
