Hundreds of visitors came through the doors as Kettering’s newest shopping area was officially opened last weekend.

The Yards Exchange in Market Street has a number of outdoor and indoor stores in a variety of quirky settings and opened on Saturday, October 10.

Developer Kevin Jones was delighted to see his team’s hard work pay off.

He said: “The feedback we had was excellent and the whole day went exceptionally well.

“It was great to hear people comparing it to Camden Town and I’m delighted that it came together after such a long time.

“All of the retail sales were really good and it’s brilliant to that hundreds of people came down to have a look.

“This shopping centre is a bit different and is much needed for the town.

“Now it’s all about concentrating on the operational and sustainability front and making sure this is as big a success as we know it can be.”
