A new national campaign shows smokers the pollution they are exposing their blood, heart, lungs and brain to.
The aim of the campaign is to show smokers what is happening inside their bodies in order to prompt thoughts about stopping smoking.
Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust’s Stop Smoking Service is hoping the campaign will have an impact on residents in the county.
Leonie Schofield of the Stop Smoking Service said: “The message is simple: look what is happening to your body, the best thing you can do for your health is to quit smoking and the best way to quit is through an NHS Stop Smoking Service.
“In fact, evidence proves that smokers are four times more likely to quit using an NHS Stop Smoking Service compared to going it alone.”
