This group will be spreading some festive cheer when they make the trip from Corby to Kettering to deliver presents to children in hospital.
Cliff Morton is hoping to have up to 20 people join him for the Santa charity walk, which will set off from the Viking Club in Corby at midday on Christmas Eve.
Cliff has organised the walk which will take them via Great Oakley and Geddington before heading to Kettering General Hospital to deliver presents to youngsters spending Christmas on the children’s ward.
Cliff said: “Hopefully the gifts will help cheer up the children who are unfortunate enough to be in hospital over the Christmas period.”
Last year’s Santa walk saw seven people walking the route from Corby to the hospital in Kettering.
They raised more than £1,000 and this helped pay for the gifts to give out on the ward.
But Cliff has added to the number of people walking this year and he said: “This year will be bigger and better.”
All proceeds from the walk will go to The Charity Pot.
It was set up with the aim of raising money for a pot of funds that can be used to help several well-known registered charities and various local charities.
