Grants are available from East Northamptonshire Council to support voluntary and community organisations which help tackle issues such as debt, personal and family-related problems and help get people to medical appointments.
There are three grants available as part of the scheme, which are for advice and information, counselling and support, and community transport.
All three will cover the period from April 1, 2014, to March 31, 2017.
Local voluntary and community-based organisations are being invited to apply for grants.
As part of the application they will be asked to show how it will benefit people in East Northamptonshire.
Application packs are available now and can be found at www.east-northamptonshire.gov.uk/voluntarysectorgrants.
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday, September 23.

East Northamptonshire Council leader Steven North said: “The Voluntary Sector Grants Scheme is a really important part of our service to residents in the district, especially in these difficult times.
“We know voluntary organisations are often best placed to meet the needs of local communities, which is why we choose to support them.”
