A goalball club, run by Paralympian Niall Graham, is to be set up in Corby next week.

The Corby, Oundle and Thrapston School Sport Partnership as part of Northamptonshire Sport has been working in partnership with Brooke Weston School and Friars School, Wellingborough, to develop a Goalball Club in the North of the County.

Matthew Peleszok, school sports manager for the Corby, Oundle and Thrapston School Sport Partnership, said: “We are all hopeful for a good turn out on the day, with currently five players regularly attending after school training at the school.

“Using Niall as head coach will enable us to provide high quality coaching provision to all the players.”

The club, which starts training sessions on October 28 from 4.30pm to 5.45pm, is open to people with or without a visual impairment.
