Have your say

Having just had an extremely busy and successful weekend, my thoughts revolve around the word ‘teamwork’.

All my life I have been part of a team, whether it be family, school, friends, sports, hobbies – the list is endless.

To me, without teamwork, the world would be a much sadder and lonelier place.

In running Crazy Hats I feel immensely proud and privileged to have such a wonderful team around me; a team that is constantly growing and a team that works so well together.

This past weekend a host of our volunteers worked tirelessly at two big events – our table-top sale in Wellingborough and a two-day open day at Hillside Nurseries, serving delicious teas and cakes, made and donated by an extended team of yet more wonderful supporters.

To say thank you sometimes is not enough but I say a huge thank you to each and every one of the remarkable “crazy” team.

We have a busy summer planned and with our 11th Annual Walk shortly upon us (Tuesday, May 14, at Wicksteed Park, 6.30pm start) you will see this amazing team in action; please join us at this exciting event where, as one very big team, we can, and will, make a difference to breast cancer services in Northamptonshire.
