Girl, four, in critical condition after being hit by car in Earls Barton

A four-year-old girl is in a critical condition after being hit by a car in Earls Barton.

She was airlifted to Birmingham Children’s Hospital following the crash in Station Road, Earls Barton, at about 4pm yesterday (Sunday).

A police spokesman said the girl was a pedestrian in the road when the collision with a black Ford Fiesta being driven by a 35-year-old woman took place.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision which has left the youngster in a critical condition.
