A woman from Rushden and her dog have qualified for Crufts.
Gillian Mason and her Australian kelpie, Biff, won the Large ABC Agility semi-final at the Kennel Club’s Discover Dogs event at Earls Court.
The talented duo will now compete in the grand final at Crufts in March next year.
Gillian has been competing in agility for more than 15 years and said: “I’m ecstatic as this is the first time we have qualified for Crufts. Biff was such a good boy and performed very well on the day. It’s our biggest achievement to date by far.”
Caroline Kisko, Kennel Club secretary, said: “Discover Dogs is a wonderful celebration of dogs and is London’s biggest dog event. Congratulations to Gillian and Biff for qualifying for the final at Crufts.”
The grand finals at Crufts will feature the top 10 dogs and handlers from the Discover Dogs semi-finals.
