Anglers and people interested in finding out more about the sport will be flocking to a county event this month.
Northamptonshire Angling Festival is being held on Sunday, June 30, from 10am until 4pm, at Barnwell Country Park.
Visitors can try coarse and game fishing free of charge and qualified coaches will be on hand to give out advice.
There is no admission charge to the festival which is being supported by the Angling Trust, the Environment Agency and Northamptonshire County Council.
Barnwell Park rangers will be running a fish-themed nature trail and there will be pond-dipping as well as stalls.
