Young people not in education, employment or training are being offered help by a new further education training centre.
Lunar Training, in Oundle, has developed a new type of qualification to help young people (NEETS) get into training and work.
The Government-recognised Gateway Apprenticeships are designed for 16 to 25-year-olds.
They have been developed in consultation with employers in each specialised field.
Subjects include motor vehicle body repair, warehousing and storage, light vehicle maintenance and business administration with social media marketing.The courses run over 15 weeks on a full time basis of 38 hours per week. The courses are free and transport can be provided. After the course, Lunar Training supports students to go on and find a full apprenticeship or a job.
