Students at Rushden Community College hosted their annual Christmas tea dance inviting dancers from the local community into school as part of efforts to bridge the gap between the generations.

Fourteen pupils from across the year groups helped with planning and running the event, which raised £120 for a number of charities.

Six children from Whitefriars Junior School also attended, working with the older students to serve tea and mince pies to guests.
