Students at Kettering Buccleuch Academy are today celebrating receiving their GCSE results.
Top performers celebrating their results today at the academy include:
O Harvey Bithray who achieved 5 A*s and 6 As;
O Dominic Eddy who achieved 3 A*s, 4 As and 4 Bs;
O James McKenna who achieved 6 A*s, 3 As and 2 Bs.
O Aranjeet Paul who achieved 5 A*s, 2 As and 3 Bs;
O Daniella Myrick who achieved 2 A*s, 4 As, 4 Bs and 1 C;
O Reuben Andrews who achieved 5A*s, 3As, 2Bs and 1C;
O Jermaine McEwan who achieved 2A*, 5As and 2Cs;
Harvey Bithray said: “All of my teachers made a real difference. I’m just very happy.”
James McKenna said: “My teachers pushed me in all subjects. In science, when I thought that I couldn’t achieve top marks and I would have settled for an A, the staff pushed me and I achieved an A* with 100 per cent.”
Aranjeet Paul said: “I’m very pleased with how I’ve done. I feel that in the subjects I found tough, the teachers took time out to give me extra support. They helped me turn my weaknesses into strengths.”
James Bowkett, acting principal of Kettering Buccleuch Academy, said: “I would like to congratulate those students who have received good results today. There are some excellent individual successes which will inspire younger students in the years to come.”
