Six people forced their way into a Wellingborough home and demanded car keys from the occupants before assaulting them.
Police are appealing for information after the incident happened at about 9pm on Tuesday, January 29, in Croyland Road, Wellingborough.
The offenders forced their way into a property and demanded car keys from the occupants.
A 62-year-old man was punched in the face and a 62-year-old woman was pushed to the floor during the incident.
The group left with car keys, an amount of cash and a mirrored jewellery box containing items of jewellery.
Police believe they left the scene in a number of vehicles.
The offenders are described as wearing black overalls, gloves, and face coverings.
