A team of fundraisers put on their festive fancy dress as they walked from Corby to Kettering to deliver presents to children in hospital over Christmas.

The team set off on the Santa charity walk at midday on Christmas Eve from the Viking Club in Corby and made their way to the Skylark ward at Kettering General Hospital, where they gave out Christmas presents to youngsters on the children’s ward.

Cliff Morton, Dan (Lee) Dare, Dave McHugh, Mick Willey, Richard Brickstock and Ronan Keegans went via Great Oakley and Geddington before arriving in Kettering.

They also had help from Andy Assur, who was dressed as an elf for the day.

A message on the team’s Justgiving page from Cliff Morton said: “Thank you so much to everyone who supported us.

“Overwhelmed by the support. Thank you.”

More than £500 has been pledged on the Justgiving page.
