A nursery worker from Thrapston is looking forward to taking the ultimate plunge for charity.
Mandy Watts, an early years practitioner at the Petit Enfant nursery, in Huntingdon Road, will take her seat on board an aircraft before flying to heady heights and taking part in a tandem skydive to raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Mrs Watts said she is nervous about the skydive on Saturday, July 6, but is hoping to raise as much money for the charity as possible.
She added: “It is our charity of the year and I wanted to raise as much money as possible for a great cause.
“So, if I could raise some money for the charity and raise awareness of the Teenage Cancer Trust it will be great.”
Mrs Watts said any donation would be hugely appreciated.
