An archery club organised a special weekend to help one of its talented young members.
The Archers of Raunds fun weekend consisted of a two-hour fun session on the Saturday followed by a knock-out tournament the following day and was held to boost the development fund of Bradley Denny. Brad, 16, has qualified as a member of the Archery GB senior squad and will go to Shanghai later this month to compete in the Archery World Cup.
The club’s chairman Martyn Phillips said: “Brad is a credit to himself and his family. He is a highly valued member of Archers of Raunds and we all wish him and the Archery GB team well for Shanghai.”
