Police are re-appealing for the public’s help to trace a man who went missing from Oundle last week.
Lyndsay Clarke Prior, also known as Bert, has not been seen since he left his home in South Road at 2pm on Thursday, January 21.
Police appealed for help to find Bert on Friday, but despite searches carried out over the weekend, he has not yet been found.
Officers have now made a new appeal for help in finding Bert, who is described as white, about 5ft 11in and of a medium build.
He has very short grey hair with a thin grey goatee beard.
When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a black anorak style jacket and brown ankle boots.
He left home without his mobile phone, wallet and his glasses which he needs to see properly.
It is believed he had some sort of fit the day before he went missing that rendered him unconscious.
Police said he was having lunch at home with his landlord last Thursday when for reasons unknown he got up and walked out of the house without saying a word, but he has not been seen since.
Bert frequents pubs in the area daily.
He has many friends that he could seek shelter or help from and they might not know he has been reported missing, Bert also might not know he has been reported missing.
A police spokesman said: “Police would like to thank everybody who has given up their time over the weekend to join in the search for him.
“This includes members of the local community and the volunteer search and rescue teams from Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
“Officers would also like to thank the wardens at Barnwell Country Park who have allowed them to use their car parking facilities.”
Anyone with information about Bert’s whereabouts can call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
