A new six-a-side football league in Kettering says it is giving away free football shirts to all teams which sign up before Friday, April 18.

League action takes place on Monday evenings at Kettering Science Academy between 7.30 and 9.30pm, and anyone over the age of 15 can take part.

Each week all teams will play a 40-minute match which will be officiated by a qualified FA referee. All equipment is provided and league winners will receive a new kit and trophies while runners-up will be rewarded with trophies.

A spokesman for Soccersixes, which runs the league, said: “Giving away free shirts to all new teams that enter the league is a great incentive to get new teams involved in the league and also start the team off in good fashion at least looking the part with matching shirts provided by us.

“This will also help the league look extremely professional when all teams will be wearing the same colour shirts.

“The facilities and match officials are fantastic and we look forward to welcoming new teams to the league although they should act quickly to avoid disappointment.

“Teams can be of any standard, a side who already play together, friends or even drinking buddies from the pub.”

Spaces are limited and anyone who is interested should log onto www.soccersixes.net and complete an entry form to register or call Soccersixes on 07528 380 094.
