A former Wellingborough mayoress met the borough’s current incumbent at an event held at a care home today (Saturday).
Joy Robinson’s husband, Charles Robinson, was the mayor of Wellingborough in 1977.
She met Cllr Graham Lawman, the town’s current Mayor, and his wife Cllr Lora Lawman at Bilton Court care home in Queensway today when the home hosted an annual barbecue for residents and their families.
Sarah Speller, activities coordinator at Bilton Court, said: “We invited the mayor and the mayoress to our annual barbecue. It’s a chance for everyone to get together and enjoy an event.”
