A football fun day is being held on Sunday to raise funds to help the parents of two disabled children pay for vital adaptations to their home.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the £6,000 needed by Leanne and Dean Blakey-Tew to make life easier for four-year-old Mia and Cory, aged two.
Both children suffer from the rare condition RARS two mutation which means they have regular seizures, are unable to hold their heads, sit, crawl, bear weight or walk, and are both registered blind.
The fun day is at Stanion Village Hall, starting at 2pm.
There will be a football match between the Brendan Callaghan X1, formerly Stanion Red Stars, and the Flamingo All Stars. Dean previously played for both sides.
Visitors can also pay £5 to have their photograph taken with a replica FA Cup. There will also be a bouncy castle, a raffle and refreshments.
Entrance is £2, with no admission charge for children.
